smitten

i've been to bombay several times. mostly fleeting visits, and mostly memories of traffic, airports, a relentless mugginess and a feeling of relief on leaving. there was something different about bombay this time. maybe it was the surprising chill in the air, or maybe it was the all-round warmth of the people around me. loved it, and wished i had stayed longer.
